L.L.I.A., Inc. 15th Annual Young Anglers Fishing Tournament

         On Sunday morning August 21, the Lake Lauderdale Improvement Association Inc., hosted their 15thth annual young anglers fishing tournament on beautiful Lake Lauderdale. 55 young anglers age 12 to 14 years old, lined the county park shoreline for a fun morning of fishing, face painting, food and prizes. A total of 155 fish were caught and released. The largest fish was a 23” large mouth bass that was caught by Andy Romack, who also went on to win first prize in the 10 and above age group.

Thanks to the generosity and support from individual donations, Cambridge area businesses and several nationally known fishing companies, all young anglers received a prize for participating in this event. This annual event hosted by the Lake Lauderdale Improvement Association, Inc. provides a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy a fun morning of fishing and fun. The 15th annual young anglers fishing contest also provided an opportunity for 18 little anglers to catch their very fish!

Please take a moment and mark your 2012 calendar for the L.L.I.A. Inc., 16th annual young anglers fishing tournament which will take place on Sunday, August 19, 2012. The 2012 will run from 8am to 10:30am and will feature the usual fun morning of fishing, food, face painting and prizes.
